location, add additional detail that may be useful for resolving the issue, and even attach photos.  These categorized, detailed, and location-enabled reports reduce the amount of time needed by Villa Park staff to review and evaluate the situation, and allow issues to be quickly delegated to the appropriate staff responsible for their resolution.  This accelerated, data-driven approach allows issues to be addressed more quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively, thus improving the quality of life in our community while reducing long-term asset maintenance costs.</div><div><br /></div><div>The reporting center can be used for issues such as potholes, traffic signal outages, damaged street signs, fallen parkway tree limbs, drainage issues, dead animals, or graffiti, just to name a few.  Users can anonymously submit new reports, review existing reports, and comment and vote on reports or observations submitted by other users.  Users can also sign in with their social media or ArcGIS Online accounts and track the status of issues or observations they have reported.  The Citizen Reporting Center has been optimized for use on smartphones but is responsively designed to be used on tablets and desktop computers as well.</div><div><br /></div><div>Users who have questions or encounter issues with the Citizen Reporting Center are encouraged to contact the Village of Villa Park Public Works
